Volunteering at the Conference - could YOU make a difference? Living with Duchenne muscular dystrophy is a big deal. It's a tough journey.  

We are Action Duchenne, a small but powerful charity who are working to make that journey better for people with Duchenne and their families. 

You can help us. 

On 11th and 12th November 2022, we will bring together over 500 families and experts from the global Duchenne community for the first time since 2019. This long-awaited flagship event takes place in the Jurys Inn, Hinckley Island, Leics and is called the Action Duchenne International Conference.  

It's a life-changing event for many, and as a volunteer, you can help our small, amazing team deliver this incredible event. 

As a volunteer, you will be helping us in all aspects of running an event of this size, talking to families and kids, young people and adults with Duchenne, assisting in the conference rooms, helping out in The Hang Out, looking after exhibitors, helping at the Friday Night Dinner etc. You will be given a full briefing, and will be looked after by our lovely team. 

We'll also pay your travel expenses if required.
