Action Duchenne is a small but powerful charity who are working to make the journey better for people living with Duchenne and their families. You can help us.
It's a life-changing event for many, and as a volunteer, you can help our small, amazing team deliver this incredible event.
Pre- Conference Support
Do you have knowledge of or contacts for amazing accessible activities for our young people in the Hang Out?
Do you know of anyone or an organisation who could help us to sponsor a session for the Hang Out, facilitate the delivery or even help us to provide a huge amount of Lego for the event and as prizes for the young people?
Do you have any skills or experience in marketing or social media promotion and could help our team to get the message about our event to the community?

As a volunteer you will help us in all aspects of running an event of this size, including:
- Welcoming families, children, young people and adults with Duchenne to the conference
- Photography during the event
- Covering our Action Duchenne information stall
- Assisting in the sessions with roaming mic support
- Helping out and getting to know our amazing young people in the Hang Out
- Looking after Exhibitors
- Helping at the Friday Night Dinner
You will be given a full briefing and will be looked after by our lovely team.
You will have the opportunity to attend some of the sessions and your travel expenses will be reimbursed.
