If you have a question that is not answered here, please contact the Convention Virtual Events Team on virtualsupport@conferencecare.com or call 02476 369747.
Once registered, you will receive an email confirming your booking and providing you with a registration link to access the event portal (please be sure to check your junk folder). This link will be live approximately two weeks before the event to allow you to access and become familiar with the portal. We would recommend that you take the time to visit the portal as soon as it opens so that you can become familiar with the space before the event.
We strongly recommend connecting via laptop or desktop PC to ensure you have the best viewing experience. You can attend and access the event via a phone or tablet and still be able to be able to watch the live workshops; however, some of the features of the portal may not work if using these mobile devices. We also recommend using headphones if possible for the best experience – however these are not an essential requirement.
Even if you cannot attend on the day, your booking will provide you with access to the recordings of all the workshops and plenary/keynote sessions up to and including 31 December 2022.
If you still wish to cancel, you can do so up to 14 days before the event and receive a full refund. If your cancellation is received between 14 – 8 days before the event we can offer you attendance to an alternative event of the same value (or an alternative event of increased value where the difference is paid). Cancellations received with 7 days or less notice before the event will not receive a refund. If you cancel you will not have access to any recordings.
We cannot transfer your booking to another person once booked. Remember, if you cannot attend the live event, your booking will provide you access to recordings of all the workshops and plenary/keynote session up to and including the 31 December 2022.
After the event you will receive an email in which we will ask you to complete some feedback. Once this is received you will then be provided with your certificate of attendance which you can use to evidence your CPD.
Due to the flexibility of the digital event and that all delegates will have access to recordings of all the sessions, not just the one for which you have booked, we are not able to confirm the exact number of CPD hours you will obtain and ask that delegates log their self-directed hours within their CPD diary for an accurate record. The number of hours you can evidence is subject to the amount of sessions you watch (either live or post event), e.g. if you watch 18 sessions, you will be able to log a total of 18 CPD hours.
Please also note that we will only be able to supply certificates of attendance up to three months after the event. So, we would recommend filing certificates in your CPD folder as soon as received as we will not be able to supply duplicates after 28 February 2023.
The convention platform will remain open to all paid delegates up to and including the 31 December This will give you access to recordings and presentations from all the sessions delivered during the convention, not just the ones that you booked for. This increases the amount of CPD available to you. The presentations will also be able to be downloaded. However, once the platform has closed on the 31 December we will no longer be able to provide copies of either the recordings or the presentations.
The information you provide at booking will be for exclusive use by the Institute of Osteopathy (iO) and the event platform supplier Conference Care. It will be held securely in line with GDPR regulations for the exclusive purposes of this event. The iO will not share your data with any third parties.
