BTA provides specialist strategic and fundraising consultancy for charities and non-profits throughout the UK. We also provide an ethical recruitment service, working exclusively with charities and non-profits to find them excellent staff. We love what we do and know exactly what it takes because our team includes people who have themselves worked for charities for many years. We’ve been there, done it, worn the charity T-shirts.
We live and work by a set of values that shape who we are and what we do. Our recruitment services are provided by people who know what they're talking about and really care about the charities and candidates they're working with. Our consultants all have at least 10 years’ experience in their specialism. As a values driven company, our commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion are second to none – we even retain an external adviser to make sure that we practice what we preach!
Every year, our consultancy helps and guides about 100 charities every year providing external support and advice from Strategic Plans to Fundraising Strategies. And we recruit for around 100 vacancies in the third sector every year. From fundraisers to chief executives. From interim managers to board trustees. We fill 100% of the roles that we recruit for – or we don’t charge a single penny. We are proudly based in Central Scotland, but we work throughout the UK and with sister companies in England, Ireland and Canada. Our plans are to grow further – watch this space!

Our accessible online platform enables anyone to make their will quickly and conveniently, for free. Legal advice from one of our quality-assured partner firms is always included in an appointment that can be delivered by phone or video call, at home or in office.
So charities can be confident their supporters will receive a will they can rely on. One that fully meets their needs and the needs of the family, friends and charities they care about.

Currently 6% of people leave a gift to charity in their Will, but if this increased to 10% then it could generate another £1 billion for good causes each year.
That's a huge amount that could make a profound impact on the world we all leave behind.
Our aim is to help realise that potential and ensure the essential work of our favourite charities lives on for future generations.
We represent 200 UK charities and work closely with partners in the legal sector, government and private sector to raise awareness of gifts in Wills.
Launched in 2000, we are a registered charity and part of the Chartered Institute of Fundraising.

It's tempting to think that any of the upheavals of recent years – Olive Cooke, GDPR, Covid, lockdown, and all that – have created the need for your organisation’s reputation and ideals to be matched by a CRM system that underpins your supporter care. Not so. Those events have simply refocussed attention on the 'what' and 'when' of your communications with them, as well as the 'how'. And the 'why' and 'how often'. They're questions that are answered in your supporter data, too. Or should be. That's why donorflex isn’t just about great CRM functionality, and hasn't been for nigh-on 35 years now. It’s about understanding life on the income-generation front-line. Let’s have a chat. We’re on Stand 21.
