Accessibility Statement

The Chartered Institute of Fundraising Scotland is committed to providing equal access to all throughout its programme of events.  The areas of the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Glasgow Central that are utilised for the Scottish Fundraising Conference are, to the best of our knowledge, fully accessible to disabled visitors.  For further information on access to spaces within the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Glasgow Central, please refer to the Accessibility Needs section of the hotel website here

In order to ensure your needs are sufficiently catered for, please let us know your accessibility requirements when booking your place, this will enable us to contact you directly with any special instructions relating to your attendance.  If you have any queries or concerns regarding your attendance please email scotconf22@conferencecare.com.

FAQs

1. Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

The hotel is fully accessible and the conference primarily takes place on the lower level with some sessions on the 8th floor which can be accessed by an elevator.

2. Are there accessible toilets nearby?

There is an accessible toilet on the lower level in the foyer area

3. Is there disabled parking?

The hotel has accessible parking available

4. Are there adaptations that have been made for people with auditory and visual impairments?

We are able to offer a larger printed summary of the programme for those with visual impairments. Audio impairments will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

5. Which accommodation is closest to the venue and accommodates differing disabilities?

There are many hotels locally who offer accessible bedrooms including the DoubleTree by Hilton. We are unable to advise which is the most suited and which ones are available at the time of the event.
