Volunteering

The Chartered Institute of Fundraising Scottish Fundraising Conference needs volunteers like you!

We need a team of friendly and motivated volunteers from across the sector to help make this Conference the best one yet. If you have the skills, enthusiasm, and commitment to be part of our vital volunteer team, then we’d love to hear from you.

What does volunteering involve?

Volunteers are crucial to the successful running of the Conference. As a volunteer, you will be responsible for a range of vital duties including speaker liaison, registration, managing sessions, collating feedback forms, assisting with housekeeping, promoting membership, assisting delegates, and much more.

You need to be able to commit to volunteering for both days of the conference - Thursday 9th - Friday 10th June 2022. With 400 delegates expected each day, there’s a lot to be done both in front of and behind the scenes.

What are the rewards?

• Free entry to both days of the Chartered Institute of Fundraising Scottish Fundraising Conference
• Opportunity to attend selected sessions on a range of fundraising topics and issues
• Gain valuable experience in team working and event management
• Networking opportunities
• Repayment of your travel expenses
• Ticket to the Awards Gala Dinner on Thursday 9th June
• Accommodation on Thursday 9th June
